Mediaset Africa Communications is the Pan-African expert story telling media production house for Africa by Africans. We produce hyper-targeted, relevant and meaningful media stories. Africa’s narrative has been told as trouble and more trouble. The result of this as they say in tech world Garbage in Garbage Out, meaning a dejected hopeless population. Not any more. Despite Africa’s problems, there is usually someone doing something about it their own way to make a difference in their home, community, province, country, continent, just name it. Mediaset seeks to tell stories of impact across Africa. That is the story we bring!

Aid and Humanitarian Stories
Africa no longer needs Aid alone but partnerships that can enhance sustainability. We realize a lot of Development organizations do a lot of ground work but their stories are neither heard or showcased to the public.
Mediaset Africa Communications has given this our core production area. We not only cover stories of what you do.
Human Rights
Africa struggles a lot with human rights violations.
Our work includes capturing and telling stories on human rights, how to enhance human rights, civil participation.
Agriculture
Our focus is on smallholder farmers and the whole value chain from land preparation, planting, technology, weeding, spraying, harvesting, post-harvest storage, transport and market linkage
We believe Africa can be food secure if good agricultural practices can be followed.
Education

We feature programs that enhance access to good and quality education including girl child education
Environment
Wangari Maathai says, Nature can be very unforgiving, if you destroy nature, it will destroy you.
We capture stories of conservation focusing on community, public and private sector partnerships that ensure conservation of the environment and wildlife.
Media Freedom
Journalism is not a crime. Reporting is not a crime. Africa has hard its fair share of media muzzlement. Journalists have been arrested and imprisoned, tv and radio stations shut down limiting the media freedom space. Such violations and infringement must never be seen as normal but must be condemned in the strongest terms possible. Its worth remembering that the fourth estates core mandate is to inform the masses of what is happening in our societies.
By muzzling media we then violate citizens right to information. Our agenda is not only to profile issues of press freedom violation but most importantly to showcase great stories told by journalists in bringing about meaningful change.
